Description: Jharkhand Tribal Haat (village market)
On 16 th March 2023 Class IV ABC set up a typical village market as seen in Jharkhand , the Shalimar Haat. The children dressed up in tribal attire and put up stalls selling green vegetables,fruits, sal plates, utensils, neem stems ( datun ) , bamboo baskets , winnows ( soop ) , brooms, tribal art pieces , clothes and tasty Jharkhandi tribal food. We could even find beautiful tribal ladies dancing to the sound of native Chotanagpuri music.
