The project taken up this time by the enthusiastic students was “SAY NO TO PLASTIC”. Classes XI and XII participated in a poster making and slogan writing respectively campaign depicting the harmful effects of the use of plastic and hence the need to stop its use. Classes VIII, IX, and X were provided a platform to debate on the topic “INVENTION OF PLASTIC: a boon” .Though many argument were given for the motion, forceful arguments against the motion were also given to convince the judges about the harmful effects of plastic. Classes VI and VII depicted their creativity by making paper bags and ‘paper packets’. Class VII made an additional effort by distributing paper bags and paper packets to the shopkeepers around the school, so that they could be motivated to support this campaign actively. The students intend to replenish the stock of paper bags and packets when the old ones are exhausted.
